Raised in the thriving musical subcultures of Washington, D.C., where he was exposed to the diversity of Punk, New Wave, House and Go-Go, DJ Omar's multivariate approach resonates with people whose tastes are as broad as his; an asset that has made him an in demand DJ for touring artists like Grace Jones, Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, Lana Del Rey, The Cult, Goblin, Bananarama and many others.

His 25-year career in the Bay Area's nightlife has produced some of the most musically diverse and inclusive dance parties like Popscene, Leisure & Sixxteen.

He is currently the DJ for legendary director, John Waters' Annual Christmas show as well as Oakland’s Mosswood Meltdown.
